Author’s note:
I mention in the book “Little Book of Virtues” a movie from a few years back called “Greater.” It portrays the true story of Brandon Bulsworth, who was a “walk on” (no scholarship) at the University of Arkansas. I HIGHLY recommend this movie as it is very entertaining, a true story about someone whose life illustrated many of the virtues so well. Possibly none more than “Dedication.” At the time of this posting, the movie is available on Amazon Prime to rent for $3.99. Well worth it!

In season 4, episode 16 of Parks & Recreation, Ron Swanson confronts Leslie Knope about trying to commit herself to two things at once. He tells her that in doing so, she will end up doing both half-assed. Choose one, he tells her, and do it whole-assed.
